Republican business owner, Charlie Chase running for Georgia House District 119 Special Edition

Barrow County, Georgia: On Tuesday, January 3rd, local businessman Charlie Chase answered the call to become a candidate in the January 31, 2023 Special Election announced by the Secretary of State to fill the State House vacancy left by the resignation of Representative-elect Danny Rampey.

Mr. Chase, a Republican, is running for the Georgia House District 119 seat to bring commonsense back to the legislature. His platform includes: ensuring that the Georgia public education system focuses more on preparing young people for the workplace and less on social issues better left to parents, reducing crime by holding criminals accountable and improving our quality of life by putting taxpayers’ needs ahead of politics.

Advance in-person absentee voting begins on January 9, 2023. Locations and hours are as follows: 

Barrow County Election Office located at 233 E. Broad St. Winder, GA 30680. Monday-Saturday, January 9th – January 14th from 8AM-5PM. Tuesday-Saturday, January 17th – January 21st from 8AM-5PM. Monday- Friday, January 23rd – January 27th from 8AM-5PM 

Jackson County Election Office (Ponchie Beck Election Center) located at 441 Gordon St. Jefferson, GA  30549. Monday-Saturday, January 9th- January 14th from 9AM-5PM. Tuesday-Saturday, January 17th- January 21st from 9AM-5PM. Monday- Friday, January 23rd- January 27th from 9AM-5PM.

About Charlie Chase

Mr. Chase is a licensed, professional contractor, owning and managing properties in North Georgia for more than 30 years. He is also the owner of All American Bail Bonds, LLC in Winder, Georgia and of Square Investigations, providing private investigation services to the people of Barrow County and beyond.

Mr. Chase’s community service includes membership in the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and the Barrow County Republican Party. He is a Master Mason, Rockwell Lodge 191, in Hoschton and a member of the Georgia Association of Professional Bondsmen where he was named Director at Large, Professional Bail Agents of the United States.

Mr. Chase served six years in the GA Army National Guard, where he was named Soldier of the Year, 48th Infantry Brigade, GA National Guard.
